Cup Match Teams Announced

Somerset announced four changes to their team in which they hope to wrest the Cup Match title away from St. George's at Wellington Oval next week.

Terryn Fray and Kamau Leverock are in as colts while Kevin Hurdle and Dion Stovell have been recalled.

Jekon Edness will be making his debut as skipper and will be assisted by Stephen Outerbridge as vice-captain.

The squad will also include former captains Janeiro Tucker and Jacobi Robinson.

Returning from last year's squad are Deunte Darrell, Malachi Jones and Joshua Gilbert.

Dropped were jordan DeSilva, Kwame Tucker and Chris Douglas while Dwayne 'Sluggo' Leverock retired from the Red and Blue in 2010.

Tre Manders, Kamel Easton and Shaquille Jones were picked as reserves.

Chairman of the selectors Molly Simons said the deliberations for the squad took about an hour.

St. George's picked: Oronde Bascome as captain and Rodney Trott as vice-captain.

Stefan Kelly and Fiqre Crockwell were recalled to the Blue and Blue.

Demali Bell is the only Colt for St. George's

St. George's retained Jason Anderson, Alan Douglas Jr., Lionel Cann, ustin Pitcher, OJ Pictcher, Rodney Trott, Delyone Borden.

Cann has been in good form at the ICC Americas Twenty20 Championship and will be pushing to join the 1,000 run club at Cup Match.
 
Onias Bascome, Lateef Trott and Shea Pitcher were picked as reserves.
